•   Zamasing's directory structure offers considerable advantages over the classic ZMI. As shown in this example, sorting objects by clicking on the action button LIST is one means of visualizing the data.
•   The ability to view all images contained in a folder at once is another feature of Zamasing. Whenever the TILE option is selected, a snapshot of every single image present in the folder is shown.
•   After highlighting an ID listed in either the main content area or explore pane of Zamasing, the user can make the context menu appear (e.g. COPY, CUT, PASTE INTO, ...) through right-clicking. To perform the desired action on the selected ID, he only needs to double click on it.
•   When a context menu is invoked without having highlighted an ID, the user is presented with a context menu offering other options, i.e. PASTE and NEW FOLDER. He can then make use of either action by double clicking it.
•   Filtering lists during text input Zamasing places a textbox above all list-style data. Typing text into these textboxes filters the underlying list and shows only the items which contain the typed text. The image above illustrates the behavior of the filter function.
•   Keyboard shortcuts Many of Zamasing's main functions are accessible via keyboard shortcuts. For example, the SAVE function can be triggered by hitting the CTRL, SHIFT and 'S' key. The screenshot above shows a short overview of the supported shortcuts.
•   Shortcuts tooltips The shortcuts are displayed in tooltips.
•   Copy by clicking the copy button Select the objects you want to copy and click the copy button.
•   Invoke the copy process via context menu
•   Display of a status message After a successful transaction, a status message appears at the bottom of the browser window.
•   Quickly select all items in a folder by shift-clicking one checkbox Holding the shift key pressed and checking any checkbox in the folder view selects or deselects all items in that folder.
•   Context menu options for modifying the current selection You can de/select all items in a folder or inverse the current selection using the context menu.
•   Invoke actions with the context menu Clipboard actions as well as the rename and delete functions are accessible via the context menu.
•   Standard Rename Objects Dialog After one or more checkboxes located next to the IDs are checked, the RENAME button becomes enabled in the Zamasing button bar. When the user clicks on RENAME, a pop-up dialog appears and IDs previously checked can be changed easily.
•   ID naming convention When a new ID is entered, Zamasing checks for any constraint violations and displays an error message in case.
•   Duplicate ID An error message is displayed if the user enters a duplicate ID.
•   To use syntax highlighting for CSS source code, you just need to click on the action button CSS.
•   To use syntax highlighting for Python source code, you just need to click on the action button Python.
•   To use syntax highlighting for DTML source code, you just need to click on the action button DTML.
•   Animation
•   Example of a DTML code completion The sample above shows how Zamasing expands the snippet shortcuts. The orange pipe indicates the cursor position at which the TAB key was pressed.
•   Zamasing GUI makes it easy for the user to locate the IMPORT action button. The button is located in the main menu at the top of the page.
•   Any valid Zope object(s) (.zexp extension) can be imported to the directory structure of Zamasing. By clicking on the IMPORT action button, it is possible to view the object's name and size.
•   In order to export a Zope object, the user must first check the checkbox adjacent to the object's name. The user can then proceed by clicking on the EXPORT action button in Zamasing's main menu.
•   If the user has more than one checkbox checked before he attempts to export a Zope object, the EXPORT action button is disabled. It becomes enabled again as soon as only one object is selected. The example above illustrates the point.
•   This example overrides the Zamasing view of folder objects in the case of Zope's Control Panel.
•   This example overrides the ID representation in Zamasing's navigation and the tab labels.
